DIANE LYNN CHAMBERLAIN

Born: approx. 1946
Died: 1964

Diane would have graduated with the class of 64. She suffered from an inoperable brain tumor and passed away in the spring of 1964. What has been remembered most about her is that while undergoing treatment for her medical condition she continued to attend school and all her classes as long as she was physically able to do so. She did this even while suffering from debilitating headaches. She appeared to be an incredibly brave and stoic young woman. It is most possible that we, her classmates, didn't really appreciate how courageous and tough she really was. Diane is remembered in the 1964 annual "In Memoriam" on page # 207.
