Died: 06-15-2007, in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona
Rhonda has entered God's kingdom after a ten year battle with cancer.
Rhonda grew up in the Maryvale community on West Monterey Way, Phoenix,
Arizona; attending Justine Spitalny elementary and Frank Borman Junior
High, prior to MHS. She devoted her life to spreading the Gospel, and
touched thousands of lives with her love and grace. She was a Sunday
School teacher. She also worked at Western Neurosurgery in Tucson,
Arizona, as the personal assistant to Dr. Jose Laguna. Her missions took
her to India, Costa Rica, and throughout the southwestern U.S. Africa
was next, but God had different plans. There's no telling how many
hundreds she brought to the church, but in her final weeks she received
calls, letters, and visitors from all over the world. She died knowing
that the best is yet to come. Great work, Rhonda. Hallelujah! She is
survived by her parents Nancy Baldwin of Phoenix, Arizona, and Clarence
Baldwin of Toltec, Pinal County, Arizona; sister Michelle (Baldwin)
Guevara, brother-in-law Franco Guevara, brother Randall "Randy" Baldwin,
MHS; 1976, sister-in-law Cristie Baldwin, many caring and loving
relatives, and more friends than we can count. Memorial services were
held at Whitney and Murphy Mortuary, 4800 East Indian School Road,
Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, 06/23/2007. Flowers are gratefully

RICHARD "Rick/Ricky" R. BRODE

Rick is a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Rick played on the MHS freshman football team during 1972, wearing
jersey # 52. Rick was married to Cynthia "Cindy" Brode & they have 3
daughters. His brother is Bradley "Brad" Brode, MHS; 1973. Rick is so
loved by all of his family. He is greatly missed. Richard last resided
in Arizona.

TINA LEE CAIN DUGGAR
The lord needed a Kind, Gentle soul so he called
Tina home. Tina Lee (Cain) Dugger, 59, of Bloomfield, passed away
Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, in Farmington. She was born May 1, 1957, in
Columbus, Ind. to Ralph Edward and Juanita Lee (Morrow) Cain.
Tina loved her family and she loved to read. Her family moved to Phoenix
where she graduated at Maryvale High School. She attended Glendale
Community College where she obtained her Cosmetology License.
Tina was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her
brother, Steve (Betty) Cain of Indiana, Carol (Keith) Rea of Indiana,
Jim (Dolores) Cain of Texas and Ralph (Mary) Cain of Arizona. She is
also survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Druie Leldon Dugger of
Bloomfield; son, Eddie Dugger of Bloomfield; grandson, Jareith Dugger;
granddaughter, Astrea Dugger of Bloomfield; along with nieces, nephews
and numerous friends.
Cremation has taken place. Please look forward to joining the family in
the celebration of Tina's life to be announced later in the year.
Tina's care is entrusted to Brewer, Lee and Larkin Funeral Home, 103 E.
Ute St. in Farmington, 505-325-8688. Those who wish to express their

Grandfather. He is survived by his father Charles Joseph Cancilliere.

1970, and Ricky Spencer, MHS; 1981. Sisters; Jay Lynn Mason and Felicia
DeSanti, and granddaughter Sky Lyn Lowther. Visitation was Wednesday,

Arizona. Funeral mass was Thursday, 06/21/2007 at St. James Catholic

Dahnk, Catherine "Cathy"
52, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on February 9, 2010. Beloved sister
of Ann Williams, Mary Dahnk and Barbara Dahnk-Duquette and the late Joan
Williams and John Dahnk, dear aunt of 7 nieces and nephews, one grand
niece, and her Chihuahua, Tippy. Received BAE degree from ASU in 1979;
and was a kindergarten teacher and Holiday Park, John F. Long and
Starlight Park in the Cartwright School Dist. Visitation with Rosary

Born: 11-04-1957, in Chicago, Illinois.
Died: 03-23-2003, after a
courageous bout with cancer.
Jeff's family moved to Phoenix in 1958. & he remained an Arizona
resident most of his whole life; last residing in Cave Creek, AZ. He
graduated from MHS in 1975. He had a long career in retail management &
as a college recruiter. Mr. Davis' survivors include Melanie Davis, sons
Benjamin & Joshua, & daughter Sheridan; parents Bud & Mercedes Davis, &
siblings Debbie Thomas, Cindy Erbert & Mike, Phil & Paul Davis, along
with many aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Special thanks to nieces
Nikki & Kelly for all their loving help. Graveside services in Payson,
AZ. on 03-27-2003. Memorial services 03-29-2003 at St. Louis the King
Church in Glendale, AZ. One year prior to Jeff's passing, he wrote the
following: "No matter what happens, there is no bad plan when we are
here to believe in good. Whatever plans that are made for all. There is
a reason. One made for you, me, & every person you have strengthened
with all in the 'Believing.' To me, life itself has been touched for
another reason. then another, then another. Then one day when we all see
the 'Light' we will know why. Until then, Go in 'Peace.' God Bless you,
& all around you."

RANDALL "Randy" DEAN GATTEN
Born: 12-28-1956, in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota
Died: 07-18-1985, at 28 years old, in Casper, Wyoming
Randy was on both MHS JV football team in 1973, wearing jersey # 32, & JV
track team (his soph. yr). His junior year, he was on the Varsity track team
(1974) as a sprinter. Randy was married in 1977 & had 2 small daughters at
the time of his death. He lived in Oregon. He passed away from hypothermia,
in a swimming related accident, while on a business trip in Casper, Wyoming.
Randy's brothers are: Eric Gatten, MHS; 1973 (now lives in Connecticut),
Curtis Gatten, MHS; 1976, Lee Gatten (attended Frank Borman Jr.High &
graduated from Alhambra H.S), Neil Gatten (graduated from Phoenix Christian

Died: 04-11-2007, at 50 years of age, of Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona.
Ernie was born and raised in Tolleson, Maricopa County, Arizona. He attended
both Tolleson and Maryvale High Schools (MHS) where he excelled in tennis as
State Champion. He worked for Associated Woodworks. He leaves behind his
wife Karen Gutierrez, his son; Tranquilino Gutierrez, his wife Melissa,
their daughter Maya, and his son, Nathan Gutierrez. Also surviving are one
sister; Amelia G. (Gutierrez) Gonzales (husband, Joe F.), 34 nieces and
nephews with numerous cousins and extended family. He is preceded in death
by his parents, Tranquilino and Maria Gutierrez, his brother Alfredo
Gutierrez, and his sisters; Ofelia (Gutierrez) Almanza, Josefina (Gutierrez)
Martinez, Irene (Gutierrez) Ortiz, Alicia (Gutierrez) Rosas, Antonia
(Gutierrez) Castro (dob: 02/06/1949, in Somerton, Yuma County, Arizona - dod:
08/15/2003 at 56 years of age, in Phoenix, Arizona; published in the Arizona

Died: 11-04-2006, in Peoria, Maricopa County, Arizona
Charlotte was born to Charles Fredrick Miller and Audrey Fay Boring.
Charlotte grew up in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Maryvale High School.
She attended college in Utah and worked for the Department of Economics
(DOE) for over 25 years. She also belonged to St. Thomas Aquinas Parish
in Avondale, Arizona. Charlotte enjoyed making arts and crafts and loved
to dance. Her greatest love was entertaining her family and friends. She
was the perfect hostess. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her best friend and husband of 10 years David
Gonzales; her three sons Billy Gonzales, Stuart Jones and David
Gonzales, Jr.; two brothers George Edward Sidney Howard (wife, Anna) of
Clay Springs, Arizona, and Bobby Howard (wife, Marsha) of Taylor,
Arizona; two sisters Charlene Aldinger (husband, Tyson) of Hawaii and
Sandra Jean (Miller) White, MHS; 1979 (husband, John), of Ft. Erie,
Ontario, Canada; and many nephews and nieces. Viewing was Friday,
11/10/2006, at Heritage Funeral Chapel 6830 West Thunderbird Road,
Peoria, Arizona 85381. Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, 11/11/2006
at St. Thomas Aquinas 13720 West Thomas Road, Avondale, Arizona 85323.
Interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 West Thomas Road,
Tolleson, Arizona 85323. Charlotte was a very strong advocate for the
charitable causes of Food for
the Poor, Inc. and
Society of St.

In 1971-72, David's freshman year, he was as MHS. He then transferred to
the newly built Trevor Browne High School (TBHS). This was due to the
enforced geographical boundary split, made in 1972 by a Phoenix Union
High School District (PUHSD) governing board decision, which started at
the beginning of the 1972-73 school year, with the opening of TBHS.
David graduated from TBHS. David's siblings are: Glenda Prince, MHS;
1972, Peggy Prince, MHS; 1979, Sophia Prince, MHS; 1988, and Reginald

Rick's parents are; his Mother June, and his Father Richard Remien, whom
preceded him in death (BM1 U.S.Navy, Korea, Vietnam, dob: 05/19/1933 -
dod: 02/14/1999, NMCA, Section 46, Site 1527). Rick is survived by his
wife Teresa, daughter Rebecca Anne, and by his Mother June, brothers
Mark Remien, Ron Remien, and Michael Remien, 3 nieces, 7 nephews and one
great niece. One of the greatest things in life for Rick was his love to
play music, which he did with his friends and family for over 35 years.
He will be greatly missed by all of us. Viewing was Monday, 08/23/2004,
Paradise Chapel, 3934 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, Arizona; and the
Funeral service was held Tuesday, 08/24/2004, at the Funeral Home.

William 'Bill' Rice affectionately known as 'Uncle Bill' attended
Maryvale High School, Class of '75. His mother Rose Marie Rice preceded
him in death in 1995. His father Buster Rice, brothers Wendell James
Rice (Lynn), John Rice, MHS; 1973 (Sue), 8 nieces & nephews, & 11 great
nieces & nephews survive him. He had a true love for fishing, animals &
his family. He will be greatly missed. Memorial Services held at A.L.
