Times" newspaper, that was published a series of articles which covered
the issue in depth, starting with the 06/1986 article "Death on the

ERNEST "Ernie" E.
NICKERSON, III
Died: 10-1989 from complications of leukemia.
He was a member of ROTC.
He always conducted himself in a proper manner, but more so when in uniform,
he was proud to wear it. Ernie was a big guy with a bigger heart, he cared
about people and tried not to let the teasing about his size get him down. He
was funny and liked to laugh. He was also very smart (he helped out his friend
Jennifer, in math). Ernie was a very nice, sweet guy that was also shy. He
missed so much time in school, being sick, that he couldn't graduate with
the class. Jennifer shared several classes with Ernie and she is very glad she
got to know him. He resided in Arizona. |
