JEANINE RENEE BAKER
Born: approx. 1979
Died: 06/27/2007, at 28 years of age, in Phoenix, Maricopa County,
Arizona
Jeanine attended Justine Spitalny elementary (in the Cartwright school
district), where she was in several plays and started playing a violin.
She also attended Borman Junior High School. Jeanine continued playing
the violin in the MHS orchestra and was also a wrestlerette during her
high school years. Funeral Mass was on Monday, 07/02/2007 at St. Vincent
De Paul Catholic Church, 3140 North 51st Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85035.
Visitation was on Sunday at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 North
59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301. Rosary was at the mortuary.
Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery, 10045 West Thomas Road, Avondale,
Arizona 85323. She is survived by her companion Manuel Leyvas, daughter
Amerie Leyvas, parents Mary and Richard Baker, brother Shawn Baker, MHS;
1994, grandparents Abelina Gallegos and Loree and L.A. Baker,
great-grandmother Ann Burrell, Godchildren, nephew Nathan, many loving
relatives and millions of friends. Jeanine worked for AT&T and later she
was employed by I Kon Solutions as a senior audit specialist. Jeanine
graduated from Maryvale High School (MHS) in 1997, Magna Cum Laude where
she was a National Honor Society Recipient all four years and was
awarded the Presidents Scholarship. She received her AA degree from
Glendale Community College (GCC) where she graduated with honors; Phi
Theta Kappa and was on the National Deans list 1998-2000. For those who
wish may send flowers or make a donation in the name of her daughter
Amerie M. Leyvas to an account at Sunwest Federal Credit Union.
